Classes of Membership and Requirements:

ACTIVE: Must have the following:

1. Certification by the American Board of Allergy & Immunology
2. Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology
3. Fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology

ASSOCIATE: Shall have completed a certified training program approved by the American Board of Allergy & Immunology

AFFILIATE: Shall be full-time intern, residents or fellows in allergy in a recognized medical center, hospital or teaching institute in the State of California.

ACADEMIC: Must be engaged in full-time affiliation with an academic institution in allergology or immunology research or teaching.

2. CSAAI members receive a discount for CME credits
3. CSAAI provides advocacy for issues that California Allergists have issues with
4. CSAAI is represented at the AAAAI advocacy initiative, ACAAI & the Joint Council that deals with practical issues for allergists.
